Google will probably introduce a competitor to ChatGPT next week

Next week, Google will hold a new event focused on artificial intelligence. In the invitation sent to the media, the company said that in this 40-minute event, which will be broadcast on YouTube, it will show its latest achievements in the field of artificial intelligence with a focus on the search engine. The Google event will be held on February 8, 2022 (Bahran 19, 1401) at Tehran time.
According to VergeThe timing of the new Google event is remarkable in its own way. Sundar PichaiGoogle will soon allow people to “interact directly with its latest and most powerful language models,” the company’s CEO said at a financial conference held this morning.
Google, which has been known as the main source of search on the web for years, is under pressure due to the increasing popularity of ChatGPT. This chatbot has turned the internet upside down in recent months and thanks to Microsoft’s multi-billion dollar investment in OpenAI, it will soon find its way to the Bing search engine. Bing can give smarter answers to users’ questions with ChatGPT and make itself a better competitor to Google.
Google will probably focus on the tools we are familiar with in its new event. In the invitation to the new event, there are references to services such as Google Lens, Google Translate and Google Map.
Informed sources say that Google is working on a chatbot called Apprentice Bard, which is developed based on the LaMDA language model and is considered a direct competitor of ChatGPT. Google is also working on a new page for web search, which will likely use a question-and-answer format.
