Exynos 2400 arrives with more cores, improved 8K video recording and new GPU

In recent weeks, the number of rumors and reports about the Exynos 2400 has increased, indicating that we are getting closer to mass production of Samsung’s next flagship chip. New details of some of the specifications of this system-on-chip (SoC) are now available; Including the new Xclipse 940 GPU and increasing the number of CPU cores.

According to the leaked Exynos 2400 spec sheet, this chip will be manufactured using Samsung’s 4nm SF4P process. In fact, the said technology is a modified version of 4LPP Plus, which focuses on improving energy efficiency. The use of this new process in the Exynos 2400 has led to speculations about increasing the number of cores in its central processor to 10.

According to the report WccfTechExynos 2400 will include a main Cortex X4 core with a frequency of 3.1 GHz and 9 other cores of Cortex A720 and Cortex A520 types. Samsung seems to be focusing a lot on the graphics performance of its next flagship chip; Therefore, it plans to use Xclipse 940 in this system-on-chip.
