Elon Musk: Twitter is going to do a lot of stupid things in the coming months

Twitter’s new owner Elon Musk has asked his followers to get ready for “a lot of crazy things to happen in the coming months” on his newly acquired platform.

According to Cointelegraph, The Tesla CEO, who is now also the head of Twitter, has made many changes to the platform since taking over the company on October 27, and has now pledged to continue his work in the coming months. By publishing a tweet on his page, he wrote:

Please note that Twitter will be doing a lot of crazy things in the coming months. We keep what works and change what doesn’t.

Since taking over Twitter, Musk has been making several changes to the platform. For example, the $8 monthly subscription model that allows users to receive a blue tick and be prioritized among other users.

During the Twitter Spaces Q&A session on November 9, Musk was asked what he thought about Twitter ads. He replied:

One of the ways we want to address such a problem is to integrate ads into recommended tweets.

A Twitter employee says:

Elon is willing to try many things; Many will fail, some will succeed. The goal is to find the right mix of successful changes to ensure the health and long-term growth of the business.
