MediaTek unveiled its new chip called Dimensity 7050. This system-on-chip is very similar to the Dimensity 1080 that was announced in November.
Dimensity 7050 is manufactured with TSMC’s N6 process. to report GSMArenaThe aforementioned chip uses two Cortex A78 cores with a frequency of 2.6 GHz and six Cortex A55 cores with a frequency of 2 GHz and Mali-G68 MC4 graphics processor.
The Dimensity 7050 chip supports a 200-megapixel camera and 4K video recording at 30 frames per second. This system-on-chip is compatible with 2520 x 1080 pixel displays with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and also supports LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.
Other features of the new Mediatek chip include Bluetooth 5.2 and two simultaneous 5G SIM cards. It should be mentioned that the Dimensity 7050 chip will be used in the construction of the Lava Agni 2 5G smartphone, which will be introduced in India soon.
