Dell introduced G Series and Alienware gaming laptops to suit every budget

Those looking for a slim gaming laptop should consider the X14 R2 and X16. Dell claims that the X14 R2 is the thinnest 14-inch gaming laptop in the world with a thickness of 14.5 mm. Other features include your choice of two Intel Core processors (13420H or 13620H) and your choice of three Geforce RTX GPUs (RTX 3050, 4050, 4060).
Other notable features include a 14-inch 165Hz QHD+ screen and an 80.5 watt-hour battery.
On the other hand, you can choose X16 from three Intel Core processors (13620H, 13700H, 13900H), Geforce graphics options from RTX 4050 to RTX 4090, 16-inch 165Hz QHD+, 480Hz FHD+ and 240Hz QHD+ screen.
Both laptops come with 16GB to 32GB of RAM, 256GB to 4TB of NVMe storage, 1080P webcam, Bluetooth 5.3, and Wi-Fi 6E. The two laptops also share several port options, namely a 3.5mm jack, HDMI 2.1 output, microSD card slot, three USB-C ports (two Thunderbolt 4), and one USB 3.2 port; But the X16 also uses a mini-DisplayPort.
The price of Dell and Alienware laptops
The cheapest model, the Dell G15 laptop, starts at $849. On the other hand, the Dell G16 model costs $1,499. Both laptops will go on sale in spring 2023.
The Alienware M16 and M18 will be available this winter in high-end configurations for $2,599 and $2,899, respectively. Base models will go on sale later for $1,899 and $2,099, respectively.
1,799 for the Alienware X14 R2 laptop arriving this winter. Unfortunately, the X16 model will initially only be available in a high-end configuration priced at $3,099, with the base model priced at $2,149.
