iPhone 15 Pro will have a more durable body than iPhone 14 Pro

The standard iPhone 15 models that will be released later this year will receive different updates compared to the iPhone 14. According to some reports, all four iPhone 15 models will benefit from Dynamic Island; But Apple will still offer some features exclusively in Pro versions only.

Earlier this year, it was announced that the iPhone 15 Pro will use a titanium body; While the iPhone 14 Pro has a stainless steel body. Now, one of the whistleblowers of the technology news says that the frame of the iPhone 15 will be made of grade 5 titanium.

Disclosure called Unknownz21 By publishing a tweet, it showed that the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will use grade 5 titanium (Ti-6AI-4V) instead of stainless steel frames, which will make the next generation iPhone Pro models have better build quality and durability than their iPhone 14 counterparts.

Apple usually presents its new technologies first in the top models of the iPhone and after some time adds them to the relatively cheaper versions as well. Therefore, it is possible that we will see the use of titanium frame in non-Pro iPhone models in the future.

Grade 5 titanium is much stronger than stainless steel and weighs less. In addition, grade 5 titanium is more resistant to corrosion than stainless steel and can generally help to increase the life of the device.

The important thing is that titanium is more expensive than stainless steel, and this is probably one of the reasons for the increase in the price of iPhone 15 Pro models. In fact, these phones are expected to be between $100 and $200 more expensive than their predecessors.
