A model of AMD Ryzen 7000 series processors, which is placed in a lower position than the 7950X model, but does not have at least flagship processors, in the benchmark database SiSoftware has been seen As it turns out, it’s the AMD Ryzen 9 7900X processor.
According to Zomit, the Ryzen 9 7900X processor has managed to get an overall score of 210 in SiSoftware and ranks third among the top CPUs in this benchmark.
AMD processor in tests Dhrystone Int and Dhrystone Long managed to record 886 billion instructions per second (GIPS) and 918 billion instructions per second, respectively. The power of Whetstone in single precision format is equal to 516 gigaflops and the power of Whetstone in double precision format is equal to 428 gigaflops. Ryzen 9 7900X outperforms the flagship Intel Core i9-12900K processor in all these areas.
During the unveiling of the Ryzen 7000 series processors, AMD announced that the 7900X model is equipped with 12 cores and 24 threads and achieves a boost frequency of 5.6 GHz. This processor has 76 MB cache including 64 MB L3 and 12 MB L2 and uses 170 watts of power.
7900X, like other new AMD processors, is based on 5nm lithography and uses Zen 4 cores. Red Team offers this processor at a price of $549.
