The Cupertinos claim that the high-efficiency cores save up to 20% in energy consumption compared to the same cores in the A15 chip; While the low-consumption cores will consume a third of the energy of unnamed competing chips.
The memory bandwidth capacity of the graphics processing unit used in Apple’s A16 chip shows an increase of up to 50%, and in general, Apple claims that the A16 chip responds 40% faster than competitors.
Other key features of this chip include a custom ISP processor that supports the iPhone 14 Pro’s camera system.
