The latest Counterpoint Research report on the 10 best-selling phones of 2022 shows that Apple and its iPhones were at the top of the most popular models. In fact, eight of the top 10 phones in this list are made by Apple, and the iPhone 13 took the first place with a share of five percent of the total sales of smartphones worldwide last year and 28 percent of the total sales of iPhones. The standard iPhone 13 model was the best-selling phone in the United States, the United Kingdom, China, Germany and France between September 2021 and August 2022.

This is the first time that the Pro Max version of the iPhone experiences more sales than the standard and Pro series versions of the iPhone 14.
