Admirable performance of AMD 7500F mid-range processor in early benchmarks

Chinese media review it shows AMD’s new processor is only 1.08% slower than the Ryzen 5 7600 in the Cinebench R23 single-core test and only 0.7% slower in the single-core test. CPU-Z also showed similar results and the difference in single-core and multi-core mode was 2.6% and 0.4%, respectively.

However, when you enter the Ryzen 5 7600X into the equation, the situation changes completely. For example, in the Cinebench R23 multi-core test, the 7500F processor is 6.5% slower than the 7600X, and the difference in single-core mode is 9%.

Surprisingly, AMD’s new processor’s closest competitor, the Intel Core i5-13400, performed almost identically, being 0.8 percent and 0.5 percent faster in single-core and multi-core mode, respectively. That too in the situation that Core i5-13400 has four more low-power cores.

All three Chinese media say the 7500F is much better in gaming and beats the i5-13400 and 13490F in almost all games. CS:GO, DOTA 2, GTA V, Horizon Zero: Dawn and Far Cry 6 were used in the tests. The 7500F appeared 10-15% faster than the i5-13400 on average.
