Anker, the major Chinese manufacturer of mobile accessories and power banks, introduced at CES 2022 its new charger called Anker 736. This new adapter, also known as the Nano II 100W, can charge three devices simultaneously thanks to two USB-C ports and a USB-A port. Anker 736 offers power of 100 watts when charging, but it should be noted that this figure is only for charging one device and multiple devices will be charged simultaneously with less power.
According to androidcentral, Anker claims that the company’s new charger is “the smallest 100-watt gallium nitride (GaN) charger in the world.” There are many 100-watt chargers on the market that could rival the Anker 736, but the use of gallium nitride technology in this charger and helping to make small and powerful adapters instead of the very large adapters on the market, distinguishes this charger from other competitors.
The Anker 736 uses Samsung’s programmable power supply (PPS) and ultra-fast charging, and for that reason, can be the ideal charger for any device, including the Galaxy S22; 100 watts of power is easily enough to fully charge tablets or even some laptops.
The new Anchor Charger will be available in March 2022 (March 1400) in two colors, black and white, with a foldable plug design, and is priced at $ 79.
In your opinion, to what extent can this charger meet the needs of users? What other brands do you know that use gallium nitride technology in their adapters?
