Amazon, the giant of the e-commerce industry, has unveiled a series of satellite Internet dishes that are connected to the Project Kuiper service. Amazon says that Project Kuiper dishes are smaller, more affordable and more capable than competitors’ dishes (such as Starlink).
to report VergeThe standard Amazon dish model, whose design was shown in 2020, has a square appearance and its dimensions are less than half a meter. Amazon has declared the thickness of this dish to be 2.5 cm. The Kuiper project standard dish weighs less than 2.5 kg and enables 400 Mbps Internet access. Amazon says that this dish is manufactured for less than $400.
