Fast charging technology for smartphones has seen a lot of progress in recent years, and now we see devices on the market that charge with a power of over 100 watts. Companies that like to play with the numbers usually play a lot on camera resolution and charging speed to make their product stand out as a device.
Aiko brand, a sub-branch of Vivo, has unveiled the world’s first phone with a 200-watt charger in order to differentiate itself from its competitors. iQOO 10 Pro is a high-end phone with a 4,700 mAh dual-cell battery. The phone charger, which uses Gallium Nitride (GaN) technology, offers an impressive current of 10 amps. This adapter can fully charge the battery of the iCo 10 Pro in just 10 minutes.
Unlike many phones today, the iCo 10 Pro charger is included in the box. A 1.5 meter USB-C cable can also be seen in the phone box. The new Aiko phone also supports USB Power Delivery (PPS) chargers up to 65 watts. Aiko 10 Pro is equipped with 50W wireless charging technology and reverse charging.
The iCo 10 Pro is equipped with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, which is Qualcomm’s latest flagship processor. This phone uses 8 or 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256 or 512 GB of UFS 3.1 storage and comes with the OriginOS user interface based on the Android 12 operating system.
The front panel of the iCo 10 Pro hosts a curved 6.78-inch E5 AMOLED display with a resolution of 3,200 x 1,440 pixels. This LTPO 3.0 panel supports variable refresh rates (up to 120 Hz), covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color space, and has DeltaE < 0.32. According to Aiko, the phone's screen achieves a brightness of 1,500 nits. Under the screen, an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor is used, which unlocks the phone in just 0.2 seconds.
In addition to Qualcomm’s flagship processor, Aiko 10 Pro is equipped with Vivo V1+ processor. This dedicated processor uses the interpolation technique to increase the frame rate of games and monitors the temperature. According to Aiko’s claim, the company’s new phone can run the Honor of Kings game for three hours continuously at a rate of 119.09 frames per second in an environment with a temperature of 26 degrees Celsius. The V1+ processor has other duties as well. This processor helps to process the images recorded by the camera.
Aiko 10 Pro uses a 50-megapixel main camera on the back panel. The 1.56-inch 1.56-inch 50-megapixel sensor of this phone is a Samsung ISOCELL GN5 type and has 1.0 micrometer pixels. The sensor in question is placed behind a lens with an aperture of f/1.88. Aiko says that the main camera of its new phone uses the same stabilization system as a gimbal. This camera can record 8K video.
The back panel of the Aiko 10 Pro also hosts a 14.6-megapixel camera with a 69 mm telephoto lens and an optical image stabilization system. This camera offers 3x zoom without quality loss. The third camera is ultra-wide, has a 50-megapixel sensor and provides a 150-degree viewing angle. Aiko 10 Pro’s selfie camera uses a 16-megapixel sensor.
The new Aiko brand phone supports 5G, Wi-Fi 6 (ax), Bluetooth 5.3, aptX Adaptive and LDAC.
According to GSMArena, the sale of Aiko 10 Pro will start on July 26, 2022 (August 4, 1401). The base configuration of the phone comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage for 5,000 yuan ($740). The most powerful configuration of the iCo 10 Pro, which carries the Legendary Edition extension in its name, has 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage and is available at a price of 6,000 yuan ($889).
In addition to iCo 10 Pro, Vivo has also unveiled the iCo 10 phone. Like the Pro model, this phone has a 4,700 mAh battery, but it supports 120W fast charging technology. Aiko says that the 120-watt technology will charge the Aiko 10 battery from 0 to 50 percent in 7 minutes and to 100 in 19 minutes. This phone does not support wireless charging.
