African elephants; Lovely thinking creatures

Love PYeter Delany (Peter Delaney) Black and white photography and African wildlife, especially African elephants, have given rise to the collection of photos you’ll see on Shutter today.

Ten years ago when young Peter went on his first wildlife safari in Uganda, he stumbled upon a herd of elephants. He remembers his first encounter with these magnificent animals as a terrifying experience.

Unfortunately, the past has not been kind to the elephants living in this reserve; They were hunted for their valuable and beautiful tusks. Although elephants are no longer hunted in this area, as elephants do not forget or forgive easily, every time the photographer approached them, the elephants attacked him. Peter says he was a novice wildlife photographer at the time and the encounter made him very wary of elephants.
