At the same time as Black Friday, massive strikes by Amazon employees began

Amazon employees went on strike in different parts of Europe on Friday to protest the company’s working methods. These protests increased with the event of Black Friday, which is one of the busiest shopping days of the whole year.

The Make Amazon Pay campaign was coordinated by UNI Global Union, which said strikes and protests will be held in more than 30 countries to coincide with Black Friday. Black Friday is held every year as the new year approaches to provide people with various products at highly discounted prices.

Black Friday, originally due to huge crowds lining up at US stores, is now being celebrated online and globally. Amazon is one of the companies that helped bring Black Friday online, and shoppers can purchase many of the world’s retail giant’s products at huge discounts from November 17 to November 27.
