The public relations of the Organization for Regulation of Inclusive Audio and Visual Media in Cyberspace (Satra) in the report published on the 13th meeting of this forum quoted Mehdi Shamlou, the head of the Steering Council of the Inclusive Audio and Visual Media Forum of Iran (Rasta) as saying:

Rasta was formed by the decision of the Universal Audio and Video Media Regulatory Organization (Satra), affiliated with the Broadcasting Corporation, with the aim of “more interaction between industry activists and regulators to contribute to healthy content and sustainability of the industry” but even before the formation and The selection of the members was also opposed by the activists of the home television network.
In a statement, these activists objected to the formation of Rasta, as a group in the trade union affairs of the home television network, and wrote about this action of Satra: “Regardless of whether Satra has the permission to form such a commission or not, that group, instead of entering trade union issues and the establishment of organizations known as Rasta should be invited from this association to carry out matters related to the representation of the private sector in cases where it is needed. Conversely, why shouldn’t the various home theater network platforms, which are mostly privately owned, be allowed to produce similar formats or content? If the issue is the simultaneous broadcast of these programs that have a similar format or content, it is necessary to note that this issue does not necessarily violate the rights of the beneficiaries and users, because according to the coordinates and characteristics of the home display platforms, The simultaneity of two programs does not necessarily mean that the audience has to choose one of them to watch, but they have the option to access and watch these programs whenever they want.
One of the advantages of various home theater platforms is to create an environment that, on the one hand, offers many choices to the audience and users, and on the other hand, by creating a competitive arena, it helps to increase the quality of creations and products of different platforms. In such an environment, setting the broadcast table with the aim of not repeating the same programs creates the concern that this competitive environment will be lost.
