8000 dimensional chip identities revealed

After MediaTek introduced the 9000 chip for 2022 high-end handsets. The details of the 8000 intermediate chip are now being heard from the corner. The new chip is expected to power a number of mid-range 2022 handsets.

Reported by Gizmocchina, one of Weibo Behnam, a well-known technology news whistleblower Digital Chat Station It is claimed that the Taiwanese are planning to supply an 8,000-dimensional chip. The chip, which will probably be officially unveiled soon, is based on five-nanometer technology. The Diamond 8000 uses a 2.75 GHz quad-core Cortex A78 and a 2.0 GHz quad-core Cortex A55 as the CPU, and uses the Mali G510 MC6 processing unit as the GPU.

Digital Chat Station says that the 8000 Dimensional chip will support FHD + monitors with a refresh rate of 168 Hz or QHD + monitors with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Other features of this chip include support for LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 3.1 storage space and 75 watts super-fast charging technology. Based on the leaked specifications, it looks like the Dimension 8000 will be a small version of the flagship Dimension 9000 chip.
